Hunter CAN recently hosted Maya of the Shministim (9/25/09).  The Shministim are a group young Israeli teenagers who refuse to join the IDF and participate in the occupation. These courageous teenagers are subsequently jailed and marginalized by Israeli society. What they have to say about the occupation of Palestine, and what they have had to endure to say it, is important for clearing up any misconceptions about what is happening in Israel.
